A central tenet of COS’ mission is sharing of lessons learned and good practices from successful, existing safety programs to enhance the collective knowledge of the industry and improve performance.
One way to promote this sharing has been to recognize those operators and contractors who are willing to share processes and practices that have made a difference in their safety performance. The vision for this program is to encourage and reward outstanding contributions to improving safety management through leadership, communication, and teamwork by industry participants. We encourage all companies with operations in the U.S. offshore oil and gas industry to submit a nomination. Winners will be selected in both the operator and contractor categories.
The top three ranked nominees for each award will be asked to present at the COS Forum on September 18 and 19, 2019. The winners will then be announced at a luncheon on the second day of the COS Forum.
